Mission Statement

At The GCJC we have been called to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We have been called to preach the gospel, not the doctrine of men; but to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ. We have been sent to the broken, the poor, the hurting, the hungry, the addicted, the convicted, and the lost to shower them with the love of Jesus Christ.

It is our mandate to show them that through Christ, no matter what your past held, you can have a new beginning in HIM. Our job is not to examine and hold on to your past, but to show you through Christ what your future can be.

We do not care nor are we concerned about what you are when you come through the doors. We are concerned how you leave out the door.

We have been called to this work so you can have a life changing event with God. It is sincerest hope that your life and who you are will be transformed and changed forever; and the person you were when you came in the doors of GCJC, is not the same person that leaves.

We want you to become a new man/woman ready to build a strong relationship with Christ. We want you to desire to become more Christ-like. And in so doing, develop a yearning to grow in the salvation of Christ and compassion to build stronger family relationships.

Our mission is to see lives transformed from sinner to a disciple of Christ-dedicated to the work of God and the vision of this ministry.

We are a ministry to transform people's lives, to be wholesome, healed followers of Jesus Christ.

Bishop Gregory T. Lightner, IV.
